I always get excited when i discover female artist because they are so under represented. Here is a 19th century italian female painter named Juana Romani. The fabrics are pretty awesome in these portraits.

Jeżeli - Julian Tuwim
A jeżeli nic? A jeżeli nie?
Trułem ja się myślą złudną,
Tobą jasną, tobą cudną,
I zatruty śnię:
A jeżeli nie?
No to... trudno.

A jeżeli coś? A jeżeli tak?
Rozgołębią się zorze,
Ogniem cały świat zagorze
Jak czerwony mak,
Bo jeżeli tak,
No to... - Boże!
